Ramshaw offers a local, personal removal service nationwide to and from County Durham.
Your personal project manager
The cornerstone of our service is your assigned personal project manager, who will manage your move, liaise with our operations department and will advise and reassure you during the move process. Whatever your question or concern, simply call your move coordinator to put your mind at rest.
Flexible packing options
Ramshaw is committed to moving you in a way that is designed to suit you. Our flexible packing options offer you a variety of choice and value for money.
Owner packed service
If you choose to pack your small items into cartons yourself, Ramshaw will supply the packing materials to assist you.
Fragile pack service
Ramshaw will supply you with packing materials to pack most items yourself, and a professional packing crew will safely pack your kitchen china, glasswear, mirrors, pictures and ornaments.
Full packing service
A Ramshaw moving team will safely pack everything in your home. This is a convenient service designed to save you time and effort.
Flexible services
If you need to mix and match these services, please speak to your project manager so Ramshaw can plan a move around your specific needs.
Insurance
For your complete peace of mind Ramshaw offers Replacement as New insurance. In the event of an item being damaged during the course of your removal, your goods will be replaced or repaired as new at our insurers option. These are extra options please ask us for more details.
Transport and delivery
Your effects will be professionally packed and loaded onto a Ramshaw removal vehicle and transported to your new home.
Storage
We will store your items in our secure storage units. We do not provide insurance for items in storage as we do not know the values we are dealing with. Please contact you home insurers as most will provide removals cover.
Unpacking
Your furniture will be placed in position according to your instruction. Our unpacking service includes the unpacking and unwrapping of your fragile items onto a flat service and the disposal of packing materials.
